Hello! I am a Portland, OR based web developer and UX researcher, with a Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois (UIUC) and 4 years experience in software development. At UIUC, I focused on human-computer interaction. I conducted research in brain-computer interfaces (BCI) with Professor Tim Bretl and social media & creativity working with Professor Ranjitha Kumar. After spending the last two years building my UX research skills, I'm excited to work on problems in software development emphasizing a user-centered approach.

I received my Bachelor's of Arts from Lewis & Clark College in Computer Science & Mathematics. Following graduation, I worked at Columbia Sportswear Company for 3 years as a Java developer. Most recently I've worked at SingleMind Consulting and Idealist.org.

When I'm not at my desk you can usually find me in the kitchen baking, outside running or playing softball, or hanging out with my wonderful family.
